A Peek into the Artist Gallery
"Evidence of What Moves Us"
I paint in response to God’s calling and the gift He has placed within me. Each piece begins in the body—through gesture, pause, and pressure—where rhythm and movement become a language that carries us inward.
I’m drawn to the space between emotions, where growth, joy, and understanding are still unfolding. Every mark holds evidence of its making, paint that arrives, moves, and remains present, allowing the work to speak with honesty and invitation to see what God is forming within.
  1. Evidence of Breath
These paintings begin from within—where breath becomes the first movement. The body is not rendered for accuracy, but as a response to pressure, presence, and release. Edges remain open, and each mark carries the weight of its making. What emerges is not a fixed image, but a living surface—where breath is felt, held, and made visible.
  1. Dance as Evidence
I paint dancers not just as they appear but as they feel—caught between strength and surrender.
The movement leads, and the paint responds in real time, holding every decision, every shift, every moment.
What remains on the canvas is more than an image—it’s evidence of motion, emotion, and something alive unfolding.
  1. Resonance Paintings
Sound is not shown directly but felt through tempo—through the way the figure leans, gathers, and releases. Color moves like resonance, building where emphasis lands and softening as the body shifts into the next beat. Each piece holds the energy of a live moment—not a finished result, but something still unfolding.
  1. Evidence of the Everyday
These works hold ordinary moments in motion—glimpses of private life that feel both familiar and quietly charged. Rather than describing the scene in detail, the paintings carry mood through color, gesture, and shifting light. Each mark remains visible, allowing the process to stay present. What emerges is not just a moment observed, but a moment felt—where the everyday reveals something deeper.
